Hooked on all things watersports related! Primarily windsurfing and kitesurfing, but I wouldn't say no to kayaking, SUPing or snorkeling. Come to think of it... I wouldn't say no to anything mountain related either. Trekking, skiing, snowboarding, you name it. I like combining my adventures with good food, good wine and good company, and I try to take a decent photograph every once in a while. When I am not enjoying the wild outdoors, I work in public finance in Copenhagen.

I have been diving since 2000 and have crossed over to rebreather/trimix for deep tech diving in 2009. Harsh winter is absolutely not an obstacle when diving. My family and friends think I have lost it when I dive below zero temperatures. I have also engaged in underwater photography with my Nikon D-7000 SLR camera and have won several underwater photography competitions. In addition, I also write diving articles for several international diving magazines. Travelling is part of diving, so I have virtually been everywhere. I have been in all Nordic countries, Kos, Malta, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurgada, Marsa Sagra, Eilat, Sulawesi, Bali, Bohol, Anilao, Puerto Galera and Malapascua in the Philippines.
Im somewhat of an adventurer both in my professional life and in my sparetime. I love diving and has a Dive Master Certificate from PADI.
I am a world traveler by profession and passion. I have lived and traveled in many places around the world, and put special emphasis on building friendships with local residents. In fact, the most common way for me to explore, is to join local friends on their regional travels. Beaches have a special place in my heart - so much that he I am running an online magazine called "Beachmeter.com" about beaches and insights from the tourism industry. As part of Beachmeter.com, I am building a free "Beachmeter" tool for beach lovers to find their ideal beach for their holiday based on their own preferences and needs. Check out more on Beachmeter.com.
Hello I`m Morten Welcome to my blog here at adventure tellers. I`m excited to share a lot of great memories with you from my active holidays and other adventures from around the world. I am 30 years old and I'm the type who loves active holidays or even wild adventures from around the world. I am the father of a lovely boy of almost 3 years. This will of course influence the tours we must going forward, but my experience tells me that you can do much more than you think. I have tried many things ranging from hunting in Greenland for a wild jeep ride through the Sahara. For me, an adventure also be basic outdoor experiences in Scandinavia. Do not hesitate if you have questions about a particular experience. As a good friend told, the adventure starts in your backyard.

Facts: Maiken Bilde Lauridsen born in the year 1984, and for some I ‘am known as Bilde, or Hippopotamus ... but that´s a story for another time. I live in an apartment in Odense, Denmark, but I Work as a physiotherapist in Svendborg. I have been a physiotherapist since 2010. Traveling: My desire for traveling has always been there, I want to see new places, experience different cultures, trying new or known activities and of course meeting new people. I got an extra family after my job as an Au-pair in North Carolina, on my 30th birthday I stood on the top of Batur, a Volcano in Bali and my first Christmas as an physiotherapist, was spend in a pub, eating burger, in Hafjell, Norway, were I was going to spend a ski season. I have had a lot of adventures, but maybe even more dreams of trips to come. New Zealand is on the top of the list, but until I make that happen, I know there will be other places I need to see and experience.
The last 8years I have traveled through six of the world's seven continents and have come to a point, where I would like to share and pass on my experiences and knowledge to other people and possibly help them to create their unforgettable travel memories. As a person, I am very easy going and positive, and despite my young age, I have a wide experience as a traveler.I have traveled in Europe, The United States, Canada, South America, Africa, Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand and several countries in Asia. On most of my trips I have enjoyed all kinds of physical challenges, which has been especially mountain climbing, hiking, biking, kayaking, diving, skydiving, skiing and much more. On a daily basic, I work as a social worker at a private residence for young people, where we often use the mountains of Norway and the forests in Sweden as our destination for development trips. I believe, that nature provides a special peace of mind, as well as, working together through physical challenges or common projects creates human reflection and development. My last trip toke me to Tanzania in the autumn of 2014, where I climbed Kilimanjaro, went on fantastic safari at…
